How Fluency is Building in 2026
Most agencies grow by adding headcount and hoping quality follows.
We're trying to do it differently.
Fluency just wrapped our 2026 team offsite.
Our 5th official offsite and our biggest to date.
It was a reminder of how much harder intentional growth is than fast growth.
Six things ended up on the table as the priorities we're holding ourselves to this year:
1️⃣ Quality at scale
2️⃣ Cost and efficiency
3️⃣ Building a sales engine
4️⃣ Technology and AI
5️⃣ Team culture
6️⃣ Expanding the service offering
These aren't goals on a slide.
They're the six areas where we know we have real work to do.
The hardest one is the first.
Quality at scale is where most agencies lose the thing that made them good.
You add clients, people, and processes.
One day, you look up and realize the senior judgment that won the work is no longer close to it.
Junior teams are making senior decisions, so context gets lost between layers.
That's exactly what Fluency was built to avoid.
We stay boutique, so context is always shared.
Every client gets experienced operators rather than an account manager passing notes up a chain.
That's a deliberate constraint, and it creates real pressure when you grow.
Which is why the other five priorities exist.
If we're going to take on more without sacrificing what matters,
We have to get stronger on efficiency, smarter with technology, and more intentional about how the team grows alongside the work.
The reason those priorities feel real is sitting right next to them.
We've been onboarding a group of new clients we're proud to partner with: a few examples include
A.L.C., YSE Beauty, HEST, Dr. Diamond's Metacine, and more.
Each of them trusted us with real decisions and real dollars.
That's not something we take lightly.
When you hold responsibility like that, "good enough" isn't a standard you get to keep.
We want to grow without losing what makes Fluency worth working with in the first place.
That's what the offsite was for.
