The Best Skincare Campaigns of 2026

The best skincare campaigns of 2026 have one thing in common.

And it has nothing to do with budget or platform...

Here's what actually made them work 👇

I looked at 5 campaigns from an operator's POV.
Not for the creative, but for the decision quality behind it.

They all had one thing in common:
Someone made a clear strategic decision before the brief was written.

And that call made everything else obvious.

Here's exactly what I took away from these 5 campaigns:

1️⃣ Rhode - Spotwear

Every other brand sold discretion.
Rhode made wearing a patch a statement.

One positioning decision made the creative obvious.
One distribution decision made it impossible to miss.

2️⃣ R.E.M. Beauty - Dangerous Woman Collection

They didn't create the moment.
They showed up for one that already existed.

The 10th anniversary of Dangerous Woman gave fans a reason to celebrate.
R.E.M. gave them a product to do it with.

3️⃣ Dove - The Beauty Machine

A vending machine at Waterloo Station that dispensed the same idealized face,
regardless of who pressed the button.

No caption needed.

You felt the point immediately.
The audience became the campaign.

4️⃣ Jones Road Beauty - Your Skin Foundation Stick

No studio, models, or retouching.
Raw footage from their own office.

Women 3 months postpartum and over 50.
That was a clear confidence statement.

5️⃣ Loops Beauty - 10-Minute Screen Reset

They didn't ask anyone to change their routine.
They put the product inside one that already existed.

One problem, one context, one solution.

None of these campaigns looks alike.
But every one of them had the same thing underneath it.

A clear decision was made before the creative started.

Most briefs skip that entirely.

They go straight to how it should look and feel, and the work ends up with nothing real to say.

Before your next brief, ask 3 questions:

- What decision does this creative need to make obvious?
- Can you brief it in one sentence?
- Would someone get it without a caption?

If the answer to any of those is no, the brief isn't ready.
Better creative starts with a better decision upstream.
