How to Build EGC as a Growth System for Your DTC Brand
You’re paying for reach.
But your most trusted voices aren’t posting.

That's what EGC (Employee Generated Content) is.

The content needs to be real.
Give each person a clear topic lane and a simple repeating format.
The system should not depend on daily creative decisions.
Identify the stories worth telling and create a low-friction way for them to be shared.
And remember, EGC doesn't perform the same way paid creative does.
There are clear signs that it's working:
- Inbound DMs referencing specific content.
- Job applications mentioning something a team member posted.
- Customers arrive already knowing the brand's story before they see a paid ad.
The above will scale you in ways that impression counts can't.
One post from a founder is a moment.
A consistent stream of perspectives from the people inside the brand is infrastructure.
The brands that build that infrastructure convert paid traffic more efficiently, attract better customers, and retain them longer.
